“Together we will build within you a bridge to the land of personal peace.”
Gary Craig, founder of EFT
EFT is a way to transform your life. EFT is
a new energy medicine/therapy tool used to balance your energy and allow you to let go of limiting beliefs, fears and doubts
that keep you from living a life of personal freedom and empowerment. I can teach you how to use this simple method for yourself,
with your children, with other people and even with your pets. It is a gentle way to transform your self-sabotaging actions
and self-limiting beliefs that have been preventing you from living the life you desire.
I have found EFT to be highly effective in coaching because it allows people
to tap into their hidden potential. Most people know what to do, it is just extremely
difficult to do it. EFT removes the barriers that keep people from being successful in
achieving their goals and desires. EFT is based on the theory
that “the cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body’s energy system.” When people are first
introduced to EFT, they often think it looks and sounds silly or is just to simple and easy to be effective. The good news
is that you don’t have to believe in it or understand it for it to be effective. What do you have to lose? Try it and
see the results for yourself. EFT is a simple, easy to apply
technique that empowers people to make life-altering changes for personal freedom and peace. It is similar to acupuncture
except no needles are used. Instead we tap with the fingertips to stimulate certain meridian points while being “tuned
in” to a particular issue. For more detailed information
attend one of my classes (see class dates below) and/or visit www.eftuniverse.com. EFT has been clinically effective over 80% of the time with either complete cessation or noticeable
improvement for the following: Stress, Anxiety, Fears (Public Speaking, Making Phone Calls, Meeting People, Dentist, Flying,
Success or Failure, etc.), Addictive Cravings (Foods or Smoking), Phobias, Depression, Grief, Traumas. It is also extremely
effective for hundreds of physical symptoms including Headaches, Body Pains, Allergies and Breathing Difficulties. It has
been called the missing piece to the healing puzzle. - Often works where nothing
else will
- Usually rapid, long lasting and gentle
- No drugs or equipment involved
- Easily learned by anyone

EMOTIONAL FREEDOM TECHNIQUES (EFT) BASIC INSTRUCTIONS: "The cause
of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system." ~ Gary Craig, EFT Founder Try EFT on everything. Give it a try to see how you respond. Then keep using it to have true emotional freedom.
EFT is so simple and subtle that many people think it can't really work, or it doesn't work for me. If
you give it a chance, I think you will be amazed with the results! 1) Tune-in to the physical, mental or emotional distress or perhaps a negative belief that you wish to let go of.
Where do you feel a discomfort or distress? What does it feel like? Be as specific as possible. Ideally, include the location,
the description of the feeling, and what the emotion is. "Pain" may be too general, "this stiffness in the
back of my neck" is more specific. 2) Note the Intensity
Level of the distress/discomfort from 0-10 with 0=no intensity and 10=very intense. If you are not sure, then guess
a number. This helps you tune into the feeling and know when EFT is working for you or if you need to make adjustments, especially
in the beginning. 3) Decide on your Setup Statement.
The setup consists of two parts: acknowledgment of the discomfort/distress (such as Even though I have this stiffness in my
neck) and a neutralizing affirmation to cover any possible Psychological Reversals (more on this below). Your setup statement
would be something like: Even though I have this stiffness in the back of my neck, I deeply and completely accept myself. 4) Start tapping on the Karate Chop (KC) point, which is the
soft side of your hand between your little finger and wrist. Using two, or more, of your fingertips take on the KC while repeating
your setup statement 3 times. 5) Now while repeating your reminder phrase (such as, "this
stiffness in my neck") use your fingertips to tap 3-7 times on each the tapping points.
6) After at least one round of tapping, take a deep breath and note your intensity level about the discomfort/distress
at this time. If it is more than 2, repeat the steps above. You may want to modify the setup statement by saying, "Even
though I still have this stiffness in my neck, I deeply and profoundly love and accept myself." The reminder phrase would
be, "this remaining stiffness in my neck." Or you may need to be more specific. How do you feel about the discomfort/distress
now? Has it changed? Has it moved? If yes, that's great and shows progress even if the intensity is still high because
you have your energy moving!

TAPPING POINTS Working down the body makes the
points easier to remember. However, the order is not crucial; don't worry if you skip one, and you can even tap in reverse
order. Tapping is very forgiving. With two or three fingers of either hand, tap with your fingertips lightly on each point.
As you tap, repeat a phrase to help you stay focused on the discomfort/distress. Use the same pressure you would use if you
were tapping your fingers on a table. You want to make contact, but not hurt yourself or cause pain. With a lot of tapping,
especially at first, you may notice a little tenderness. You can always switch to the other side of your body to tap. Eyebrow (EB) beginning of the eyebrow, above the nose. Side
of Eye (SE) on the bone at the outside corner of your eye, not so close to make you blink but not as far as the hairline. Under Eye (UE) under the middle of your eye even with the pupil. Be especially gentle in
this sensitive area. Under Nose (UN) roughly midway between the bottom of your
nose and the top of your lip. Chin (CH) midway between the bottom of your lower
lip and your chin bone, in the indentation area. Collarbone (CB) at the base
of your throat fine the start of one of your collarbones. Move about an inch down and inch outward towards your shoulder.
You can use two to four fingers to tap here. Under Arm (UA) about 4 inches below
the armpit (mid-bra line for women). Tap or press under the opposite arm (using your right hand to tap/press under your left
arm) or use the hand on the same side to tap, whichever is easier for you. Top of Head
(TH) is an optional end or start point. The top of the head is where many of the meridian points crossover. I like
to use four fingertips or the palm of my hand and tap in a circle around the top of my head. This point is especially helpful
to "cement" a choice/affirmative statement, such as, "I choose to have a relaxed and healthy neck." *Psychological Reversal (PR): shock, trauma, or repeated learnings and teachings (maybe as
far back as a a young child) that can cause the energy flow relating to a particular subject to become reversed; i.e. it does
the opposite of what you want it to do. For example, in the case of stiffness in the back of the neck, even though you may
want relief from the pain there may also be reasons to hold onto the pain. Maybe it is your way of dealing with stress, maybe
there is a fear related to the pain, maybe you think you deserve to have pain...That is what the setup statement takes into
account: Even though I have this pain, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. For more examples of setup statements
and PR, signup and receive my monthly FREE newsletter.

Remember, Energy Tapping is very flexible and accommodates
many variations. You don't have to it perfectly. It can be very helpful to tune into your body, see how it feels,
tap where it seems to indicate that you need to start and/or stop. For more on tapping, signup for my FREE
newsletter or for individual assistance or questions, please email me (Sandy) at lighthousecoach at hotmail.com or call 843-425-7173.
